From inspiration to the final piece: explore Suagongo’s creative process behind each handcrafted and 3D-printed jewel.

At Suagongo, every piece of jewelry begins with a story. From Galicia, our creations fuse technology, art, and sustainability to offer a unique approach to 3D jewelry. Today, we invite you into our creative process — a journey in which an idea becomes a lightweight, conscious, and soulful 3D-printed jewel.

1. Inspiration Rooted in Galicia

Everything begins in our homeland: Galicia. Its Atlantic landscape, ancestral culture, and organic forms deeply influence each collection. Whether it's a shell found on the coast, a Celtic symbol, or a reinterpreted traditional motif, our ideas emerge from the world around us.

Our slow design approach also invites us to observe with intention, reflect on what we want to convey, and go beyond mere aesthetics.

2. Digital Sketches: Where Technology Comes into Play

Once the concept is defined, we move on to digital design. We use 3D modeling software that allows us to work with millimeter precision. This is where the magic of 3D jewelry begins: we can experiment with complex forms, geometric structures, and details impossible to achieve through traditional techniques.

3D printing is not just a tool — it’s part of our philosophy. It enables on-demand production without unnecessary stock or waste.

3. Choosing Sustainable Materials

At Suagongo, we work primarily with PLA, a bioplastic derived from corn that is industrially compostable. This significantly reduces our environmental footprint compared to conventional materials.

We also explore new textures, colors, and finishes, always guided by a clear principle: respect for the environment and a commitment to more ethical fashion.

4. 3D Printing and Handcrafted Finishing

Once the model is ready, it’s printed layer by layer using FDM technology. Depending on the design, this process can take several hours. Afterward, each piece is cleaned, polished, assembled, and finished by hand. This is where the artisanal touch comes in — adding unique character to every jewel.

No two Suagongo pieces are exactly the same: small variations make each one truly one-of-a-kind.

5. Thoughtful Packaging and Shipping

The process ends with recycled, plastic-free packaging and a handwritten note. We believe that opening a Suagongo jewel should be an emotional and aesthetic experience — one that’s aligned with our values.

More Than Jewelry: Design, Sustainability, and Emotion

At Suagongo, we don’t just make jewelry for decoration — we craft pieces that tell stories. Our creative process combines the best of two worlds: technological innovation and artisanal care. From Galicia to the world, we champion sustainable 3D jewelry that leaves a mark… but only on the heart.
